>psychologist, or psychiatrist

That is not a doctor.

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor.

No arguing with that.

Exactly. Most are waybmore fucked in the head than the people they treat. One Flee over the cuckoos nest still valid.

LOL OK.

>You do get that they are a massive part of the problem? (In terms of justifying/normalizing various Leftist Agenda wish-list items, facilitating the public opinion of mental illness as "stunning brave etc.")

>tl;dr If there was something amiss with my health/well-being, a psychiatrist/psychologist is the last person I would seek out. They are one of the worst forms of snake-oil grifters, hiding behind a shield of pretentious asshole-ism. Fuck them all with Mike Pence's used butt-cactus. Twice.

Hey, I’m not defending anyone. Just a technical point. Hell, I agree with you. I don’t trust any (medical) doctors by default.

Dealing with the "medical community" over the last several years has been a YUGE Red Pill. If their abilities and quality of care were in line with their condescending attitudes, I would cut them some slack- but they have given me little reason to.

I tolerate medical doctors because I need certain medications for basic survival. But I don't really think they have an interest in getting me well, it seems that it has been more profitable to "keep me in the system" and reap the benefits of my insurance. (It seems they care more about redundant/expensive testing than getting me back to a (new-)normal life.)

Psychiatrists/psychologists though, that's a whole new kettle of greed and self-importance. I have known/dealt with those types, most were screeching Leftists with a completely illogical PC "mindset." I had the joy of being romantically involved with a couple of them, who both turned out to be manipulative gaslighting batshit loonies (a Red Pill suppository: finding out just how wacko a "psychology major" can be, those people have a how-to manual for emotionally torturing people.)

My biggest sticking-point with psych-whatevers as a big clump of dangerous and influential groupthink: they seem entitled to assume the Moral High Ground by default, seeing themselves as authorities on the standards of normalcy and acceptable thought (based on their "advanced knowledge of the workings of the human mind," and how to manipulate/capitalize on that for fun and profit.)

Unfortunately, their Left-biased "education" causes them to see the world "through the lens of" their own SJW busybody need to bend society and legislature to the will of PC Compliance. The harebrained gender-confusion/identity-politics they endorse end up clogging our courts and influencing our elections. (Obviously, Identity-Politics "empowerment" issues pandering to sexually-confused trans people played a part in recent elections: this is a direct result of "authorities" in the psychological community encouraging obvious mental illness as a "lifestyle choice" worthy of praise and political pandering. Also noteworthy: the incoming DNC regime prioritized trans-empowerment on Day 1 with executive orders and pandering with over-representation of trans/LGBT cabinet appointees.)

>AND THIS IS HOW YOU END UP WITH DRAG QUEEN STORY HOUR FOR TODDLERS

WE'RE HURTLING INTO SODOM AND GOMORRAH, WTF

Yeah, I absolutely get it. I’ve learned and developed skills in all kinds of biomedical / science. I know first hand how fucked up and fake it gets.

From what I’ve read and been told I’ve always understood them both to be considered doctors with psychiatrist being MDs AKA medical doctors. Not looking for an argument, but please correct me if I’m wrong. I mean if you obtain a doctorate, aren’t you technically a doctor? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Rachel "Dick" Levine can call himself "a wymyn" all day, the self-serving horribly unethical "pshychology community" can give him a "wymyn certificate" with a little perforated card to rip off and glue over the top of his drivers' license. But that is always going to be a man with a penis wearing a dress (unless he cuts it off, then he will be an emasculated man in a dress.)

A "profession" means someone has the skills to convince others they should be paid for their services. This does not mean their "service" has any true value,or that their "service" might actually be a sneakily-disguised attack on normalcy in our society. "Psychiatrists/psychologists" are an essential part of the Leftist Agenda, used largely as a propaganda device to manipulate public opinion (in terms of normalizing the unthinkable.)

>inb4 "herp derp Dunning-Kruger" No. Don't start that bullshit with me, shrink-huggers. I'm being polite.

I don’t disagree with anything you’ve said, but that still doesn’t change the fact that from everything I’ve ever read, seen, and heard, they’re technically doctors. I’m not saying they necessarily deserve respect or the title. Shit, I’ve met, and seen some doctors including a general practitioners, and other actual MDs after a couple of sports injuries and didn’t respect them at all after realizing they had no business being doctors, but that goes for lots of people with lots of titles in an array of different professions, and industries. 🤷🏼‍♂️

YOU BETTER SHOW DR. JILL BIDEN SOME RESPECK!!!😁
