Geopolitically no. It is an extremely stupid thing. That is unless you want Iran as an ally and SA raping us for the price of their oil while Biden destroys domestic production. The only way we could ever decouple from SA is by producing our own oil. Even then we would have a strategic reason to back them against Iran.
