I can't seem to stop using the platform. There's just too much information posted there by content creators, I just can't see a way to stop using it. It just sucks that the people posting there aren't Google themselves and Google has all this power over everything. Does anyone have any suggestions? I run ad-block, so there's that.

You don't have to be signed in to Google/YouTube to watch the videos. I refuse to sign in to Google ever. Just watch the videos and get used to not commenting there.

Not true. You have tonhave an account to watch certain videos (deemed hate speech by lefties but actually just regular speech)

OK, sorry, did not know that. I mostly go to YouTube for songs.

It’s the only one I’ve kept because I spend my morning coffee time down voting and insulting all of the cunt traitors and networks.

Yeah, It is definitely tougher. I check bitchute or rumble first but there are things that are on the toob that I use that just aren’t anywhere else....yet.

Just check other platforms first and do what you can. Make sure you support content creators that fight back against the toob also.

Good luck!

Start posting in comments that if they remain there follows and likes will be going away because there is a major movement away from sites that censor. So your paycheck will dry up and new creators that already have moved will be getting your views and follows.

They need to be told that if they support censorship that they will be censored by those of us that dont.

That's actually a good idea. We need to tell creators to upload onto sites that don't censor!

I know this. Even though we're blocking ads, by giving views we're promoting their content, though. It indirectly supports Google just by viewing. It also gives them data by viewing habits/analytics and whatnot.

I don’t give any money on the platform, but I’ll watch the videos of content creators I like.

Move to Rumble.

Block the website.

1
UnidentifiedPa3 [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

I would, but Rumble doesn't have content.

2
Stefanos 2 points ago +2 / -0

Me too, using ad blocker so they get nothing out of it. I always check Odysee and Bitchute first. Mostly youtube I go there to down vote the white house channel :D

Use do not depend. We still have lots of red pills getting dropped from you tube.

1
UnidentifiedPa3 [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

That's the problem, though... Say I need to learn about how to code something, often having someone explain it through a video is the only way for me to figure out what's going on. A lot of content simply isn't found elsewhere. It's dependence by definition.

I would also like to add this respectfully if I may. I love my Air Pod Pro head phones. We have issues with cancel culture due to popular msm beliefs. We are changing it. These Corps act this way because it is accepted once that changes we will no longer lose our constitutional rights. These fuckers are dug in it will not be easy or short but what else is there to fight for but this. You tube helps me with many Wood working ideas, so let’s keep it but change the people.

Use AdGuard ad blocker, which has customizable content blockers to right click and block say fucktard fact check boxes on videos.

next, Stop letting YT control your feed. use BlockTube extension to completely block channels and videos from appearing even if you search for them. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/blocktube/bbeaicapbccfllodepmimpkgecanonai

I feel just fine watching YT, by blocking ALL of their fucking ads, and controlling what they show me. I'm a total parasite on their system and bandwidth. I even watch their free movies section commercial free. Fuck youtube.

UnidentifiedPa3 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Do you mean to install the extension on web browser, or the actual program version of AdGuard?

Thanks for the information! Very useful and helpful.

2
Final_Arbiter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, the extension....can find it here: https://adguard.com/en/welcome.html

Pro TIP on BlockTube....goto YT and search "NBC", CBS", CNN, etc etc....and go down the search results and block them all and each iteration of their channels. clears up your feed page real quick of Fake News.

I have the extension, but I'm having problems hiding the annoying "Biden is President" boxes under YouTube videos. For example, this video. How would you go about blocking the box on the bottom? I right clicked, couldn't figure it out.

Final_Arbiter 2 points ago +2 / -0

R-Click on page with offending element>click Adguard Icon>click "Block ads on this website">maneuver the green box overlay over the element you want to block. You can "Preview" it first to make sure it doesn't break the site, when satisfied, hit block button and it's now added to yer custom block list - never see it again. Also handy for blocking wikipedeo huge beggar boxes when you visit. And many other useless or annoying elements on websites, such as email sign-up boxes. btw yer YT link 407'd on me.

Wow, that's pro as fuck. Thanks a ton for that!

Final_Arbiter 2 points ago +2 / -0

NP. Just peruse your YT front page and YT search for all the fake news commie channels, cucks, BLM bullshit, etc....block them, then peruse your feed to clean it up of faggot make-up tutorials, COVID propaganda channels and other useless shit that YT chronically shoves in yer "recommend".

Spend 30mins or so each week to keep it clean. Oh, you can also use blocktube to block comment content. I don't use it, but it's there.

People will argue that even with blocking ads, you are still giving them raw traffic. While true, me blocking all their ads, controlling what they "feed" me, and completely leaching offa their system and bandwidth to watch shit, surely outweighs any raw traffic numbers I give them, as their fucking ads are not getting impressions [or clicks from me obviously], and they're not 100% in control of what I want to see. Fuck them niccas.

Edit: also use Brave Browser [in conjunction with AdGuard] to block all of their fucking trackers to boot. They get nada offa you, and you leach those mofos bigtime.

It’s the lesser of all the evils. If they ever full-on ban crowder or dice, then I’m out.

What will you do when you need to watch a video how to fix something, or how to learn how to do something? Sometimes, very specific things are buried in these videos and not found posted in articles dug up using a search engine. Videos are often more effective at teaching than just reading.

I thought at first maybe there was some site that would mirror videos on YouTube to deprive them of views/data, but I couldn't find anything.

Here's an example:

I've been learning how to write code for several months now. There's websites out there that talk all about coding and there's forums dedicated to the topic. Stack Exchange, Stack Overflow etc.

Sometimes, when you can't find an answer to a problem, you need to look up a video about a broader context that happens to have the solution.

Another example:

Recipes to cook with aren't always posted online and easy to find with search engines. I was looking for a re-fried bean recipe for a long time on a search engine, I couldn't find something simple and easy. Tried YouTube, there's a nice woman with a recipe that only has three ingredients and is delicious.

People don't always have technical expertise &/or resources to have their own website. YouTube is accessible for these people, almost anyone can figure out how to upload a video. It's a shame we need to have this discussion, because if Google wasn't such commie trash, we could have a wonderful thing.

When yiu find content you can't live without, copy the address over to bitchute or any other platform, and watch it there. Just don't let the vid run at all on youtube.

This totally screws up their viewer data. They know exactly how long each viewer was watching. All of their ad revenue is based on this.

What do you mean? Surely you don't mean re-uploading to their site.

It's nice, but I tested a search and I got nothing.
