Same. If people keep working then nothing will change. People will bitch and whine, but if they have jobs and can feed themselves, they will do nothing. This place is filled with some of the most hard core MAGA people you could imagine, but they will do nothing so long as they still have a job.
It will be interesting to see what happens within the next two years. Right now it seems like nothing. We will be forced to accept a new reality of decline. Where the American empire is in perpetual decline because those that own the industries are in the pocket of foreigners. I don't know how long it takes.
Edit: This dismal outlook is the trajectory we were on before Trump. So.. it's not new, it's back.
I haven’t worn a mask in months. Every community needs to have a list of places they can go without a mask. We have one and only support businesses that support freedom. We are also involved in local politics to end the mask mandate in our county.
A town very near to me requires masks to be worn when walking in and walking out. Once inside, bars and restaurants are packed shoulder to shoulder. All pickup orders are done in another doorway. Heck, they even allow "to go" boozy drinks.
This small town is one of a few conservative suburbs of a large liberal city. Doing what they are doing is to quell lawsuits and Karens. It actually feels exciting, kinda like the prohibition days where large rooms were hidden so people can do what people like to do.
I think if some prominent authoritarians committed unfortunate suicide with two gunshots to the back of the head and stuffed themselves in duffle bags we would see change.
If we all made a coordinated effort to stop wearing their mask, we could begin to reestablish control.
The only peaceful way to restore our lives is to take control ourselves. Stop wearing the mask.
I think it’s cute anyone still believes there can be a peaceful resolution to all this.

Every part of me cannot abide with that insanity. I refuse. I refuse to play the game.

The government is only legitimate in its mandates if we capitulate and abandon our founding principles.
Reminder: Boston Massacre was 6 years before 1776 and the Tea Act was 3 years before 1776
Don't give in to their demoralization tactics. This is precisely what they want. Just become stronger, more emboldened daily.
Manufactured precedent with a manufactured president
