We love innovation and businesses. We just don't like YOU. YOU are the problem.
You said it yourself: Your little idea was originally to troll a guy that doesn't know or care that you exist. You didn't get into it because you believe in it. You didn't get into it because you have a cool idea that you think can help people. You did it to try to shit on a man that pays a nobody like you no mind.
Your little business isn't even ready to come off the ground. You can't even find a manufacturer that's unionized that make pre made pillows for you to brand your name on them. Lindell designed his own pillows, sourced the raw materials, created prototypes, refined, did it again until he had something he could market, sinking his own money into it. Then he beat the streets selling pillows. And he did that for years. They became popular and he started his own manufacturing and distribution centers and offices. He built his own company from scratch.
You want a built in solution. One you won't find. Because manufacturers don't unionize. Because unions are bad. They hurt businesses. You don't even have an idea, you just say, I want to brand a pillow with my name and I want to profit. It's fucking pathetic. It's taking the laziest way out and when people find who you're trying to do business with, they'll just order from them directly and cut you and your price increases out. Thus having your business fail.
This little troll attempt is going to fail. One way or the other.
We love businessmen and innovators. We detest grifters and faggots.
I was talking about this with a friend and he brought up a great analogy. He said it reminds him of when he was 12. He and a few other kids in the neighborhood were going to start a band. No one knew how to play an instrument, but hey - we can do this and be famous.
So here's why we don't like this:
