50 years ago, if anyone had tried to pass a law giving some unelected panel of globalist bureaucrats power over American sovereignty they would have been tarred and feathered and run out of town until they hit the coast. As soon as we said “fuck it” and bailed on the Accord, France and Germany also balked, because now they were on the hook for the entire cost. They were like “nah, we’re not interested if the US taxpayer isn’t paying for most of it.”
The only purpose of these agreements is to cripple the US. No one else ever follows them. Just like how none of the NATO members outside the US ever paid their agreed upon amount.
