The good angels fought the rebellious angels. And the rebellious angels were cast from the heavens. And Lucifer was cast out and became satan. An angelic nature he still has. An angel he once was. An angel he still is. A fallen one. Along with the other fallen angels.

Now, as Our Lord says, he is the father of lies. A liar and a murderer from the beginning.
