Take a look back at some of the financial commentators throughout the wallstreet bets events. I clearly remember one guy on MSNBC yelling about people getting checks from the Government and running straight to the casino.

I think the establishment's quest for UBI and total government control was shaken by the fact that capitalism still works.

They did everything in their power to destroy the economy and bring us to our knees financially. It wasn't enough. Not yet anyways.

When they sent out checks, they didn't send anywhere near enough to cover the costs of those who have been cut off from their income. They did send that amount to a lot of people who were still working, and had savings as well.

When the ones who still had means got their checks, they did the unthinkable.. they used it to spite the people who think they run the show.

Once the hedge funds and other major players felt a thorn in their side, I imagine they lobbied the absolute fuck out of the administration and all the players shaping the next bill. They probably used smooth talking threats to assure the establishment that they were on board with the enslavement of the general populace, but that it is too soon. We haven't been beaten down enough quite yet.

This is extremely hopeful from my perspective.

As long as we can stay together and keep utilizing the system of capitalism, they'll never quite be able to pull off the UBI scam. All they can do is inflate the currency to Venezuelan levels, but it will still be more feasible to work, create and earn than to simply exist as a leech on the government.

The government will only succeed in pricing itself out of existence in its current form if we continue down this path.
