Pfizer had sought authorisation for its vaccine in India late last year, but the government in January approved two much cheaper shots - one from Oxford University/AstraZeneca and another developed in India by Bharat Biotech with the Indian Council of Medical Research.
They have shut out Pfizer because it is more expensive. It's probably more effective, but they can't be bothered paying the $20/shot * 2 shots per person. How worthless are these lives to their governments?
Maybe it has something to do with the VAERS reporting showing >2% of people vaccinated have sudden death as a side effect? That’s higher than the death rate for COVID.
