If it's a myth, why are oil companies using it?
[hint, it's cheaper, they don't give two fucks about the environmental angle]
It's not all sunshine and rainbows that the fanatical greens make out, there is a cost in building, but NOT using the sun & the wind is idiotic. Use some coal in the manufacturing of solar and you've made something that will give a reoccurring return over time, burn some coal and it's... well, burnt.
We'll always need some oil & coal extraction but to use it as a primary energy source is dumb.
Just a way to shuffle their investments to look like they care. Really there is no green energy at this point and it’s people like you who refuse to see the massive amount of raw materials and fossil fuels that it takes to build a technology like solar or wind that are intermittent and backed up by fossil fuels. It’s the best of both worlds for oil companies. When they diversify their technology they can get tax deductions and credits to shuffle through their business and keep customers thinking they are “green”. It’s total bullshit. It’s just as damaging to the environment to produce these technologies.
Sure where are they getting the raw materials? Green is a myth
