My mom is 78. She gets the steal, liked Trump.

She's a big football fan. She keeps talking about the Stupidbowl. I tell her I don't want to hear it. "But Steve Harvey is so funny." "But so and so is such a good citizen." "But the game is so exciting."

I like the game. But I don't want to hear about the NFL. It's not about the game anymore. It's about bullshit social causes - Racism in the name of stopping racism.

Me: "I don't watch the Stupidbowl. It's a racist celebration - Black History Month this, Black Lives Matter that, glorify drug addicts and rapists the other."

Mom: "Don't ruin it for me!"

5:45 She's watching some Holocaust movie she's seen 10 times already. I say nothing as head towards the office to tutor some students.

Her: "I can't watch the Superbowl. It's non stop, wall to wall black lives, black history, George Floyd is terrific, Biden is terrific, we need justice."

Even a die hard fan has had too much.
