I quit wearing a mask. After almost a year of living under COVID restrictions, I have decided that I’ve seen enough.

In the beginning, when the virus first disrupted our lives I was just as scared and uncertain as everyone else. But after having COVID myself without incident and everyone I know has had it without incident, and after the cdc said you have 99.998% chance of surviving if you’re infected, I’ve decided that I’ve seen enough. I stopped wearing masks. And so should you. Period.

As long as we live in the United States of America we get to decide how we live. We need to exercise our rights. We start by stop wearing the mask.

Join me. Please. It’s up to us.

Good for you. Next step is joining or forming a community group for mask freedom. Make a list of local businesses that let you in without a mask. Boycott the rest. If you have a local mask mandate get involved to end the mask mandate.

What would you do to get involved?

Sadly start working with your local GOP and calling and writing city and state reps to let them know. It's an uphill figjt though. My aunt has been fighting with our state government to get into the nursing home her husband is in for almost 8 months now. Too many people are just accepting it and going along though.

In my county we have groups that follow the local commissioners and school board. They watch the meeting and give a summary to everyone. We work to end the mandate. We sometimes flood them with emails, have people working on lawsuits or freedom of information requests. We plan peaceful protests. We speak at or call in to the meetings.
