I quit wearing a mask. After almost a year of living under COVID restrictions, I have decided that I’ve seen enough.
In the beginning, when the virus first disrupted our lives I was just as scared and uncertain as everyone else. But after having COVID myself without incident and everyone I know has had it without incident, and after the cdc said you have 99.998% chance of surviving if you’re infected, I’ve decided that I’ve seen enough. I stopped wearing masks. And so should you. Period.
As long as we live in the United States of America we get to decide how we live. We need to exercise our rights. We start by stop wearing the mask.
Join me. Please. It’s up to us.
Except in places where they literally arrest you for not wearing one.
I'm glad I'm in Texas. All I get is dirty looks, but no one else seems to give a shit.
They arrest people for trespassing after being asked to leave private property and they refuse. It's a difference. Not a huge one but it is. The arrests for mask refusal will start next fall.
