I quit wearing a mask. After almost a year of living under COVID restrictions, I have decided that I’ve seen enough.
In the beginning, when the virus first disrupted our lives I was just as scared and uncertain as everyone else. But after having COVID myself without incident and everyone I know has had it without incident, and after the cdc said you have 99.998% chance of surviving if you’re infected, I’ve decided that I’ve seen enough. I stopped wearing masks. And so should you. Period.
As long as we live in the United States of America we get to decide how we live. We need to exercise our rights. We start by stop wearing the mask.
Join me. Please. It’s up to us.
I was out with my kids today at a park and there must have been somewhere between 20-30 kids there, almost all of whom were wearing masks. All the parents were except me. Some kids asked mine why they weren't wearing masks - they simply shrugged and said they didn't need to because they weren't sick, and then kept on playing. None of the parents confronted me.
Hearing stuff like this makes me nauseous. This madness has to stop. We can't let them normalize this shit.
Sadly it's already normal for some. My kids are 5 and 6 and have the luxury of two parents who both agree masks are bullshit. For kids even younger, it's abnormal to not wear one. I even saw babies wearing them!
It's already been normalized by scared sheep like our OP here.
