You can see that on a small scale with children. Grandma will give the four grandchildren each ten dollars. Two of them save it and two of them spend it all. Then later, she will give them all ten dollars again. Now twofold them have twenty dollars and two have ten dollars, until they promptly blow it...

There will never be equal outcomes. Athletes know this. Some athletes are just more talented. No matter how many hours I practice, I would never be good enough to play basketball at an elite level. I am just not tall enough or built for basketball. I have other attributes. I would not want people to end up equal.

Suppose two of the group of children set up a lemonade stand, and turned that $10 into $20. When the children go back to grandma, do they other two now get to demand $20? That's where we are headed.

The problem is, there are so many metrics of "equal." Economic systems are just one piece of the puzzle. Is the homemaker who chooses to raise her kids somehow less equal than her husband who earns the money?

Since the Marxists want to base everything on power, the wife would likely have more power and influence in the familial sphere, and possibly the church or religious sphere because of time availability. it's quite possible she also would take an active role in her children's education, so in this instance the wife would have more power, maybe even institutionally because it's likely she would know the teachers, administrators, etc. The Marxist construct is just a false paradigm.

There is also the problem of hypergamy in a system of economic gender parity, but I won't prattle on...

You make a good point about their misunderstanding of power and the different kinds of power. Sadly the State would encourage the Mom to leave her sphere of influence to be another corporate drone while some bureaucrats would be responsible for the child’s education and religion. This is where we’ve been heading where the State feels it can seize your kids, ban homeschooling and disincentivize motherhood and intact families.
