I'm a 38 year NJ native and I still don't get the appeal of Springsteen to people here. His music sucks,and he can't sing for shit. He's just one of those who decided to take on the motif of "local working class guy" in his music and people bought it.

why? I liked that song. Unlike Douche Springsteen, it had a cool beat and was original.
