Trump isn't always right. Yeah, people will hate me for saying this, but Trump should have used force to prevent the coup and he was too nice.
We need Trump 2.0 who will do what has to be done to clean house. If Donald can't be separated from the worst vipers inside his tent, we'll have to move on.
He couldn’t use force. Departments would refuse to follow orders. Trump didn’t have enough support either. To get the necessary support would have been difficult or impossible because he’d have to essentially ally with the “deep state” rather than fight it.
While he couldn't use force, we all knew from the beginning that the 2020 election was EXACTLY what was going to happen if Trump and the GOP didn't do something to secure the election. I'm sorry, but outside of bitching about it on Twitter trump didn't do shit to secure the election.
The number one agendas above everything else for at least the last 2 years of the administration should have been securing the election and social media censorship. Trump should have been doing nothing but calling out the fraud that was getting ready top occur and pushing the GOP to pass laws regulating the election. Instead, Trump and the GOP stood by while they rapidly destroyed every ounce of election integrity in every state.
Don't get me wrong, I 100% am behind Trump, and I will follow him wherever he goes, but I think we need to stop making excuses as well.
No you’re not 100% behind Trump. You’re using lots of hindsight to make your case. Trump’s aggressive campaigning and Patriot supporters absolutely blew the election numbers up to the point that the computers had to stop. The election exposed many tactics and Mis-deeds that nobody knew the depth of. Trump legal teams sued before the election to stop Pennsylvania. They got ACB into the Supreme Court. I don’t think Trump or anyone else knew how completely the courts would lay down. The opposition tried to completely shut down his rallies. He moved them to airports, and garnered the most votes in history of an sitting President. Legitimate votes. He got a legal team together to present fraud and ask every (Republican) legislature in question to send the correct slate of electors. Each one failed. He called Georgia officials on the phone and tried to get them to do the right thing, and that’s just the one phone call we know about. He called Michigan state leaders to meet at the Whitehouse. He went on national TV and gave a speech outlining the fraud. He gathered many thousand Patriots in DC to help congress understand people don’t want a steal.
I know he stopped short of using the military to force the issue, but that might not have been as viable or as good of a result as we expect. He was likely doing all this under life threatening circumstances from people who can and would make good on the threat.
How effective was he going to be in office with the Supreme Court against him, the RINO’s fighting him, state Republicans abandoning him, and mostly a Democrat Senate and House majority. Not to mention the DOJ and their compliance in his demise. The man did nothing but fight. President Trump was very close to winning the office again, but he was surrounded by too many traitors and anti-Trumpers.
He is the number one fighter of the establishment in American history.

Love him for how far he got us, but still.
