It's a dump.
People can't live their lives as they should because a bunch of crooks want to order everyone around and the people they have imported are making everyone miserable.
The economy is dead because a couple billionaires wanted more money for some reason, despite already having more than they could use in their lifetime and very little chance of keeping even their heads after they fucked up so many countries.
I don't see why people don't just stop working across the country. What's the point when no one wants to live here except the people at the top of the crony pyramid.
The only question that seems unanswered is how would you take down this civilization without taking yourself out with it? I doubt that's really a complication for a lot of people now though. They'd be fine with dying if it meant taking out this civilization.

Or just outlive them by being us: changing our own flat tires, cooking our own meals, wiping our own asses. All the stuff they've been trained that they're too important to do. Adapt or die works both ways
