They're now saying we have to continue the masks and social distancing and whatnot indefinitely because it stopped the flu. Which means they previously had no evidence that it would be effective and the only actual science behind the orders was using us as lab rats to test their hypotheses. These people are worse than Nazis. Imagine someone had come to you a year ago and said we'd have to go through all this for the common flu. Yet, today objecting to "settled science" is tantamount to terrorism. Mobs of rabid power-tripping authoritarians are running around eager to cancel someone for violation of rules that not long ago would have been ridiculed as a tyrannical over-reach of bureaucratic authority. And all it took was a little fear-mongering to convince people to crawl into their simp caves to hide from nature and spread their cheeks for an anal swabbing.
