I wouldn't say we defeated the wrong enemy, though we did only defeat half of the enemies we should have defeated. Should've steamrolled over the Nazi regime, pressed the remaining Wehrmacht into service, and fucked the idea of communism right out of existence.
Imagine if Russia was a free capitalist nation for the last 50 years instead of commie then authoritarian. We might have mars bases by now and china would be irrelevant.
Not really. More like Asteroid bases, Making plans for colonizing Venus, starting to use Jupiter as a test bed for material strength and resistances to see how far they survive down the atmoshpere before being destroyed to then make more specific materials to war against it.
I am surprised we do not do that with the Mariana Trench pressures. I mean just do that for 10-20 years should at least allow us to find a composite to be 1/16th as strong by now(Talking about a 1.5 x 2.5 x .8 rectangle exterior with a 1 x 2 x .5 Hallow interior rectangle to allow a collapse[its all in inches]).
I guess you are talking about "meta-gel" then. The common term being meta-liquids since there has been case studies with the liquid being pumped full of oxygen so the human can breathe the liquid. The problem arises form the fact that they are drowning and breathing at the same time which a movie a while ago has done through an insane asylum(its fictional, but he liquid scene is very much real in terms of how a human would react) where hallucinations, vertigo, mind-altering effects, and various other side effects the least of which could be death.
The meta-gel from earlier was about creating a elastic, shock gel that doubles as a solid material when exposed to negative one hundredd (-100) degree temperature which is far hotter than the vacuum of space in the "cold" spots(basically the light of the sun that is being blocked by an object).
Not sure if it is in production now, but the theory is there and it should work. The problem is the material which strangely enough slime is turning to be the go ahead direction of implementation(a chemical slime). The problem is they have created it, but it is expensive, toxic to humans, and could be considered a weapon in certain situations. There is a variants, and none of them have been given the go ahead.
As for recent, some people are using Machine learning to speed up the process in meta-material science there was a technique developed(I think they were from Australia or Japan) that can search through hundreds of combinations for materials scanning.
We defeated the wrong enemy. The winner writes the history book. You’ve seen what fake news does. What real proof exists of the Holocaust? Go on on show me.

Work on making a more ocularly transparent (and electrically insulating) oxidized liquid-breathing environment for human explorers.
(This liquids-are-incompressible feature is why people are trying to make astronaut cephalopods.)

Like the movie “The Abyss”?
If you drop a feather and a bowling ball at the same time in a vacuum chamber.
The feather and the bowling ball would fall at the same rate because there is nothing for the feather to push off of.
Yep, space travel isn't possible.
We will get there. It is just going to take us longer to clean our shit here.
We defeated the lesser of two
we could have used the wehrmacht and made them fight for us as "a means to an end, we both hate fucking commies....so let's kill em together" LOL

I knew a survivor with the tattoo on her arm. Fuck off.
No one denies concentration camps. We had those too though. Show me proof of the evil gas extermination camps.
