Capitol Hill is not at all remarkable in comparison with police responses to BLM with the exception of someone being shot. That doesn't happen in BLM protests. The response to BLM protests have been variable including no response even when it's predictable.
When you get down to it this article is complaining about a lack of a bunch of innocent white protesters being executed by police to settle a racial blood feud that doesn't even exist based on a false narrative that police shoot black people significantly more than white people in the same circumstances. We tend to call that hate speech relying upon blood libel.
They're complaining that they couldn't massacre unarmed civilians protesting for democracy because some of them were armed? I think there are better reasons than that and generally speaking people weren't armed.
Contrary to popular belief BLM rioters are often armed with everything ranging from melee weapons to firearms. They do however prefer concealed weapons.
I think the police have many better reasons for not starting a massacre. The numbers alone being more substantial than the presence of firearms.
