Most countries do however support a level of immigration and diversity in the right place that offers a return. There's a point where you quickly get diminishing returns and this is what you see with mass immigration.

On paper many countries are more economically successful than ever before but on the ground the cost of living is more expensive than ever and the opportunities are fewer. People often fail to appreciate there are many different dimensions of economic success. Amazon getting richer isn't necessarily you getting richer.
