(The rest of their models are loaded with foreign parts.)

Hey Chrysler, maybe you should "ReUnite" your manufacturing and the U.S.

Meanwhile, my Honda Accord was built here in the great USA.

I also think Toyota is all made here.

Most popular models - - https://www.motorbiscuit.com/american-made-cars/ (but think these percentages are USA AND Canada content)

If you get a bigger engine (say an Accord V6), the percent of USA made parts is even higher.

Nice. I live in Ohio. Which is Honda country. I have a Honda plant, in my Town and another one 20 minutes away. That will be my next Vehicle Purchase

Some Toyotas are made in Japan. Toyota Pious is, I think, and 4Runner certainly is. 100% made in Japan.

Honda Accord is on my short list for my next car. Reliable, good resale value, and American made. Pretty sure it was named in the "top-10 most American cars" list until the Detroit Three bitched and moaned to get the list rules changed.

I have an old Accord as my beater. Literally the best car I’ve ever owned. Has never once let me down.

They have quirks with all the electronics. Mostly the shitty Panasonic radio, that has program glitches, more times than not. I love my car and it is safe and they hold value really well. I have the 2.O which has crazy power.

You can see what the domestic content (usa and canadian) is per vehicle. The 2021 numbers haven't been complete yet, but Honda does tend to have the highest domestic content across many models. It's tough for me to justify buying a car with less than 50 percent domestic content and its disgusting how many pickups barely meet that number with some having less.

I agree. I think the pickup industry also doesn't invest enough onto safety. These are driven for work and need to be safe and reliable. Seems they forget this aspect. Durability for long term is not a thought. Like everything else, if it breaks sooner, it will need to be replaced sooner. More money for them.
