You can see what the domestic content (usa and canadian) is per vehicle. The 2021 numbers haven't been complete yet, but Honda does tend to have the highest domestic content across many models. It's tough for me to justify buying a car with less than 50 percent domestic content and its disgusting how many pickups barely meet that number with some having less.
I agree. I think the pickup industry also doesn't invest enough onto safety. These are driven for work and need to be safe and reliable. Seems they forget this aspect. Durability for long term is not a thought. Like everything else, if it breaks sooner, it will need to be replaced sooner. More money for them.
