Bruce has hated patriotism and distrusted the military since his first album -- read the lyrics of "Lost in the Flood". Others mentioned Born in the USA. Where other lefties have cranked up the rhetoric over the years, Bruce has been all-in since day one. A shame, he was one of my childhood heroes.
