Small town Texas and major metropolitan Texas are 2 different things. I'm in Fort Worth and almost never see any resistance to the mask mandates. We're a bunch of sad muzzled sheep. Out in the more rural areas there is a lot more freedom.
I’m in south east Alaska and some people wear them and some don’t. No one cares. I don’t think we’ve had a state mandate that I recall, although some cities have instituted them. Not mine.
GA is pretty good but you still sometimes get snotty store workers acting like God. Rural areas are way better than city but it’s not fool proof. Atlanta is cucked. Texas, but I mean I saw a guy get arrested in a rural Texas gas station by a power hungry cop for not wearing a mask. So ymmv
Florida, Texas.
Most rural areas that I've been to, mask mandate or not, are not strict at all on masks.
I'm going to be moving as well. I thought of one way to go about is just call stores / restaurants in different parts of the country and ask.
