Obviously I would prefer to buy from a based shoe merchant instead of one of the companies that hate us and wants us all re-educated.
I heard New Balance was not woke, but looking at the models and messaging on the website, I am now questioning this.
If any of you brave bastards sorting by new have some recommendations, pls let me know.
Best I could do is point you to www.chinanever.com I can't promise all the companies there aren't woke, but if so, the next best thing would be supporting businesses that don't rely on slave labor to bring their products to market.
I went on this hunt about a month ago and boy oh boy is it tough. If it's made here it's really expensive. New Balance has sneakers made in the US but only a limited number and at about twice the cost. I went with it because I was determined to buy American but they don't make it easy.

On Cloud but it's Swedish. Saucony used to be in Maine but hard to know anymore where the products are made. New Balance is ok. I like my On Cloud's.

These are made in USA shoes. I know you asked for based but there ya go. As of right now made in USA trumps based IMO with everything going on with China. Minds can be changed but there's a war with China. Propping our industries is #1.
