Criminalizing speech is the 8 lane motorway to serfdom. The right to political opinion cannot be criminalized. Attempts to do such should result in the criminalization of the act to suppress and infringe in such rights and condemnation of the politician that believes he/she has the right to limit free speech. The first amendment is not a suggestion or recommendation. It is natural common law.
