I am from England and respect our veteran's like Captain Bob but man oh man the amount of fawning from the media over a guy who did laps around his garden with his walker was unreal, let's be honest there was no way he came up with the idea to do it to raise money for the NHS, his grandkids would of came up with it. He should of been knighted for his service not for taking a damn stroll.
I agree with you completely! I'm not from the UK (tho I suppose it was obvious), but know a couple people from there and they were talking about him. I'm not quite sure who he was, but it makes me sad to hear he was being used in a way for a publicity stunt :(
