I keep trying to understand why the left is so upset about the Capitol protest and couldn’t give a shit about the cities that BLM and Antifa burned down. I think the answer is that they see no higher power than government and the Capitol is their holiest of holy shrines. Think how close it came to their high priests ands priestesses getting hung outside on the rickety gallows someone constructed. They almost lost their purpose in life. To make government reach every corner of the existence of those they disagree with and force them into submission. The horror!
After 4 years of saying every incident was trump's Reichstag Fire, but he never seized power, they finally got theirs and unlike Trump they're actually pulling a Hitler and using it as an excuse for passing laws to drone strike Americans in their homes. They need to keep up the fear and the idea that this was worse than 9/11 so their simpleton proles will support the murder of their neighbors and children because "but terrorism! But the 6th!"
