At first I thought it was a lead-in to "...hey, we're all human, let's all try to get along..."
Then it took a hard left into some really weird 'My ideology must be appeased!!!111' libtard shit.
Reminded me of when I lived in Portland. I'd do nice things for the neighbors, but they still remained standoffish for the most part. Polite when socially 'cornered', sure... even civil. But there was always that undercurrent of considering me as part of The Other(tm).
( To be fair, I experienced similar while living in Salt Lake City, but in that case it was because all of the neighbors' activities centered around the local Ward, so it's obvious that as a non-Mormon I didn't participate, thus... )
Holy crap. When I started the article I thought it was satire but the closer I got to the bottom I realized the writer just went full retard.
Ditto.

Stuck in SLC this place is insane. It's as blue as Portland now. And the surrounding area has the ward issues.
Where can someone move to just be normal?
Salt Lake is pretty bad these days. I'm about an hour north, I'm non-mormon and the community is great.
