Fuck Jeep. I was gonna buy a new Wrangler in 2018 but I decided to get a few more miles out of my old car first. Now that I'm in the car market again, Jeep is at the bottom of the list.
Weird. I just rented a 2019 and it was nice as hell. I'd get one if I wasn't focused on a Continental. They just shut those down, so I want to get one before year end.
You have to put a few thousand miles on it to see. I'm not a Ford hater, either.
Rides decent, but the windshield wipers work 50-ish% of the time; the back hatch locks 50-ish% of the time; the pretty twisty-knobs scratch really easily and are worn already; the auto-shutdown engine is annoying as hell; gas mileage is averaging a dismal 13 MPG city/hwy...just to name a few.
I have a 2017 RAM 1500 Limited 4x4 with 70k miles. It still looks brand new inside. Not one issue since I factory ordered it. 7,000 lb V8 4x4 truck, yet easily averages 16 MPG City , and 17 MPG while hauling ass on the Interstate -- 21 MPG babying.
Night and day difference between build quality and performance.
But....that Bronco is sweet looking. Just hope it's Built with Pride.
The new Bronco is the 2020s version of the PT Cruiser. Saw a Bronco in person the other day and it looked like a SJW version of the original, only these are missing their balls.
It was a "mule" and had Michigan plates on it. It was being driven on the 5 freeway in LA and had various sensors attached to the outside of it. They run test cars out here constantly because they get "real world" driving conditions. It looked very much like a Land Rover and nothing like a full sized Bronco.
jeeps are for the recently divorced soon to be step dads, they are close to useless for every application. 4runners on the other hand are sweet as tits if you can afford biden regime cost of gasoline
Jeeps are also for people dying to fit in. It’s almost like a cult, Jeep drivers always wave to each other and always have to talk about their Jeep to people who couldn’t care any less.
Have had a 2010 Dodge Nitro for 4 years now. God I love it. My Ford Escape tried desperately to be worth a shit but failed miserably. Fuck that car. My Nitro is a beast, and I need a beast for the SHIT I have to drive through during winter. Makes Siberia look like Kansas.
Jeeps suck. I had two and the transmission shit the bed on both even though I was driving them like a grandma. I then bought a Toyota TRD Off-Road and that thing will get me anywhere. I have crossed streams and drove through 2 foot deep mud to get back to hunting locations in deep wilderness, and that thing is just a beast. Plus, despite being a Toyota, they were the most American made truck when I made the purchase.
Toyota has multiple plants in the US, most of their vehicles being sold in the US market are built right here in America, using a lot of material from American companies. Between the people working directly for them at their factories, people working at Toyota dealerships, and the business they give to the companies that produce the materials they use in their cars, they employ, both directly and indirectly, hundreds of thousands of Americans.
Wish Toyota hadn't pulled the CJ Cruiser from the North American market. I heard they're now gonna pull the Land Cruiser from North America after 2022 - gone after 65 years of sales here.

I like the new Broncos. I’d like a white one for... old times sake.
OJ, I see what you did there.
Edit: OK, I see what you did there, did there.
;)
My work bought a new Expedition. I'd swear it was made in Chyna...just junk right out the box.
Broncos look nice, but this Expedition tells a different story.

Goddamn it, why do we make such shitty cars?
"hello twitter world it's yours truly" - some murderer probably
You get it ;)

A jeep looks like SJW vehicle. The Bronco looks really good.
I believe you saw the soy cuck "Bronco Sport" version. The full size is coming in a couple months and looks pretty badass.
Lol thanks for the laugh. I haven’t spent time in one, just saw it online. Shame if that’s the case
They haven't even produced them yet. Lol. I doubt you saw one in public.

Toyota Landcruisers are even worse on gas, but a much more serious off-road vehicle. Jeeps are toys and mall crawlers.
🙌🏻 100 series 250k miles, zero rattles, silent and rides like your on a cloud
80 series here, 180ks, just barely broken in.
Jeeps are also for people dying to fit in. It’s almost like a cult, Jeep drivers always wave to each other and always have to talk about their Jeep to people who couldn’t care any less.
Yep. "It's a Jeep thing - you wouldn't understand." lolz

They’re different? Arizonan asking fir a friend.
Haha, my husband bought a Jeep when we were first married and as soon as we had a kid we traded it in for a Tahoe.
This guy knows what he talks about.
