My Mom came home to find him on the living room floor after suffering a massive stroke. Things looked bad and the prognosis was worse. Nobody believed he would make it through the night. Thanks to God and all the prayers and support from friends and family, he miraculously opened his eyes the next evening. He was very weak and unable to speak or move much beyond a thumbs up or a grip of our hands. The doctor wanted to assess how alert my Dad was and asked him questions that can be answered with a nod or a head shake. Dad answered everything correctly except for the last question. Doctor: Is Donald Trump still president? Dad: Nods yes. Doctor: He answered 95% correctly. Sometimes people are still in a fog and may not know exactly the current events. I looked at my Dad, saw his barely open eyes and said “There was rampant election fraud. Donald Trump is and will always be my Dad’s President”. Dad had a half smirk, the best he could muster, and nodded yes. Even during a crisis, facing the worst event in his life, he refuses to back down and accept what he knows to be wrong. He is a strong Patriot with resolve and conviction that we hope will help him get through this. Nevertheless, if you are willing and able, I ask that you please keep him in your prayers.
