In fairness, it's not his style. He did stand up against this sham impeachment from the get go. Didn't see anyone else do any heavy lifting. Point is, you can always depend on him for constitutional issues.
I agree with you, the courts did not take up the issues because they are scared/corrupt. It does no good to lose your platform to the mob now, it's called political survival.
