and getting better training that the boyscouts programs offered.

like another commentor suggested; it was an excuse to 'win against the boys'

but really, was just an internal fight that co-opted the boyscouts.

they wanted the money, support and cookies, but didnt want all

the 'feels over reals' programming that came with it

in the end. all it did was take all the mormon money and influence out of the boyscouts...

which the girl scouts never needed, really, cus they sold crack

i mean 'sugar'

so what they dont report upon is the welfare of the girl scouts

as an organization... they were basically destroyed.
