They were onboard with the election coup early on jumping on the “let’s call him president-elect biden” train a few days after the election. More recently they tried to silence Mike Lindell during an interview because he was discussing the evidence of the election fraud. One host, bob sellers, read a prepared statement about how newsmax supports the election results and doesn’t support anything showing election fraud, then walked off the set during the interview.
It was more than just being mean, it was their attempt to silence Lindell that lead to them being exposed. They had him on to ask questions about Twatter censoring him, and when he started to talk about why he was being censored (claims of election fraud), Newsmax shut off his microphone and one of the hosts started rudely talking over him. It was disrespectful, unprofessional and showed their true motives. It was something you would expect from Chris Wallace/Fox, but NewsMax was supposed to be better than that. They obviously are not on Team Trump and are just another RINO media station attempting to profit off the MAGA movement. We are not stupid, we can see clearly who supports us and who does not.

These contracts don't necessarily have any set fee for ending the agreement early. Fox does not want him jumping to a competitor and they don't have to let him out of the contract at all. He can try to negotiate an exit agreement that would allow him to start working for a competitor very soon, but there's no reason to think Fox would be willing to agree to that, and certainly not at a price that OAN could afford.

This is also possibly a motivator in Tucker Carlson's lukewarm "performance" of late: forced to "play ball" with the "New Fox Lite" CNN-style approach, because leaving the network could involve the consequence of a "non-compete clause" that is by design intended to impair his job opportunities for a specified period of time (unless it can be dealt with via a massive payoff.)

Fox will keep a larger percent of his viewers if he's not available to be watched anywhere for a while, as many will keep tuning in to Fox at the same time and watching whatever replacement programming Fox puts there.
Tucker should have gone there, but instead he kowtowed to his handlers. Its sad but he made that choice.

Tried the Klowd TV app on my Samsung TV, and it was trash. Kept getting logged out constantly, and had to log back in all the time. I am a cord cutter too, so when I hear “just switch to OAN”...well, their presence isn’t anywhere near as available as Newsmax or Pluto TV (which has OAN, but I’m told it’s not live broadcasts), so I really, really wish they had a better option out there to watch them, as simply switching to them isn’t easy at all.
Of course, that is just my awareness of the options...if anyone knows of another option for cord-cutters than KlowdTV please let me know. I’m surprised they haven’t taken steps to make themselves more available after Fox’s election screw-ups, and now Newsmax’s s screw-ups as well. They have a chance to seriously increase their viewer base right now.
