This pretty much says it all. You aren't questioning weather you would or wouldn't because the fact that it's even a question means you would 100% take the bribe. The problem is that anyone can be bribed, threatened, blackmailed, destroyed by slander (Say I deep-fake you into kiddy porn and deliver it to the cops.) or occasionally even killed. And we don't seem to be able to tell who is going to be stand up when the time comes. That's a damn big problem.

The penalties for betrayal need to become more severe than the threats towards integrity or nothing will ever change.
