Man, I hate it when our people get subverted, but seriously, we have to figure this shit out.

I'd like to think I'm better than this piece of shit, but suppose I ran for office. Hell, suppose I ran for HIS office, somehow won, you know what would happen?

Winnie the Pooh would show up at my house with a dump truck full of money, 15 Chinese concubines, a briefcase of coke, and then he'd mention he's got a sniper ready to pop my family and dog if I don't take the bribe.

I'd like to say I'd punch him right in the nose, but hell, would I in the moment? Especially knowing that even if I take the bribe and go to the FBI they will tell me to fuck myself?

That’s why we need patriots, people who love their country and who work to uphold the Constitution. Like Donald Trump, local level.

Well, yeah, but still. Soon as we get them in, the dump truck shows up.

Take that fucktard Kemp. He took the bribe, but when massive pressure built up to get a serious audit in Ga, and he started wavering, his daughter's BF's car exploded in a totally normal not at all suspicious car accident.

I mean, most car accidents involve an explosion, right?

Yeah I know. He had actually unofficially asked the governor for a special session the eve of the explosion. You’re right. Ah explosion would make me freak out too. It’s really the Dems who need to go out. People are weak.

Don't forget that they off'ed the GBI guy doing the investigation.

This pretty much says it all. You aren't questioning weather you would or wouldn't because the fact that it's even a question means you would 100% take the bribe. It's like if you are questioning weather or not you're gay. If you think you might be gay, then you're gay. I would absolutely die over a political vote this important without question. I thought we were all on the same page. It turns out this national stolen election has nothing to do with politicians. This is a moral failing on a mass scale. The system is working, and the corrupt politicians are true representatives of the citizenry.

It's easy to talk big and tell yourself you are a pillar of morality until the suitcase full of money is on the table. But until the money is on the table and you actually have to say no to it, it's all talk.

Don't get me wrong, I don't actually want to undermine you. I hope you are that moral. And I bet most people who voted for Boyer hoped he was that moral. And he wasn't.

The problem is that anyone can be bribed, threatened, blackmailed, destroyed by slander (Say I deep-fake you into kiddy porn and deliver it to the cops.) or occasionally even killed. And we don't seem to be able to tell who is going to be stand up when the time comes. That's a damn big problem.

Pretty much this.

We'd all like to talk big, but if I had to choose my family's life...well...

I feel like I've read this before. The penalties for betrayal need to become more severe than the threats towards integrity or nothing will ever change.

^this^ They’re playing a different game than us. Fear and power are their motivations

It isn't you who would be harmed/threatened, it would be your family obviously.

Edit; but I 100% agree with you sentiments

The corruption is widespread and systemic. This moral quandary wouldn't exist if we just purged the entire government of its communist infestation, top to bottom. A firesale. Everything must go.
