I have dealt for many years with an ex-wife with (at the very least) narcissistic personality disorder (and likely several others). She and others like her MUST destroy certain people. It is far beyond her simply being a petulant child wanting her way. It is a compulsive obsession with having power and control over everyone and everything. I have learned that negotiations, arguments or any kind of "talk" is completely and utterly useless. The ONLY thing that works is a display of REAL and ACTUAL power in response to her displays of her own power.
Likewise, the ONLY thing that will EVER work with these people is to respond to them with real and actual power. I am not saying "go and be violent", but finding ways to prevent them from taking what is ours and taking back what they have taken from us such that there is nothing they can do about it is the only thing that will have any kind of effect on these people and on our own futures.
