I have to wonder how many people would pay to use Twitter, but I'm sure there are plenty of fools who would do so regardless.

They would still lose a lot of people. There are people that are happy to be on there to like and retweet the latest leftist propaganda for free, but those same people aren’t going to do it for $9.99 a month.

Not to mention third world countries where the people would be lucky to make ten bucks a week.

I would estimate they would lose 90% of their audience. I have no mathematics to back that estimate...just a gut feeling. Most of the "blue checks" would just have their company pick up the tab or they would likely get free rides as "content generators" or some moronic term they would use. Most people would just up and leave to a new platform.

I would also venture to guess that the 10% that initially stay would be gone within the year when they realize nobody's "liking" their incoherent twaddle and they're not getting any "follows" or "retweets."

That's probably about the time they get a $1 Billion government subsidy to keep one of their primary propaganda wings afloat.

That would be preferable for twatter. Obviously they aren't profitable with their millions of users anyway - it would be better for them to be funded by leftist corporations to broadcast their leftist bullshit without having to pay people to censor them.

A sort of wokeist RSS feed exclusively for the bluecheckmark psychos, where they can all circlejerk and reference each other without the dirty plebs interrupting them.
