To be fair, minimum wage in the U.S. is total shit. The wage is $7.25 an hour. Thats a total joke, even for students.

Increasing the minimum wage by a couple dollars would be fine. But going all the way to $15 an hour is ridiculous.

That means wages will more than double! Businesses can't afford to pay their employees that much more.

Federal minimum wage is stupid. Let states decide. Where I live 7.25 is a good entry point.
