My boyfriend broke up with me a couple months ago after this covid BS. I'm a woman that cleans pools for a pretty big company. The company is great and family run but the boss's daughter is a never trumper and has a trump voodoo doll next to a sign that says "I'm going to be your boss some day." Across the office is a box full of masks with a sign saying "if a customer asks you to wear a mask you have to comply"....the daughter is the same exact age as me and is going to inherit the company from her father some day. They just hired her boyfriend that knows nothing and has zero experience to learn how to do repairs. There is no room for advancement past my 15 dollars an hour. I'm done working for the man. I got an offer from my buddy that owns his own company, he wants to sell me the route that he is getting rid of, and hes going to let me rent to own and teach me remodels. He says hes never worn a mask for work and would never force me to wear one. So I'm jumping on this opportunity to get the fuck out of commie world and start working for myself. Fuck masks. Fuck your daughters trump voodoo doll. And fuck my ex bf that broke up with me because covid freaked him out. I have nothing holding me back anymore. Wish me luck, I'm putting in my two weeks notice in 2 hours. MAGA.

You go girl. Keep the satisfaction knowing that this Voodoo Doll Queen will eventually run her Father's business to the ground while you will be self employed. Kudo's to you my friend.
Haha she doesn't even know how to park her truck in the back of the shop so that other employees can get by. That or she just has the attitude of "I basically own the place."
Take her customers
My very favorite appliance repair person worked for the company I used to hire to fix my appliances. Then the owner of the company hired his wife to handle the back side of the business. She thought it was a good idea to call of her husband’s clients to introduce herself and tell them there was a new sheriff in town and the laws had changed.
My favorite appliance repair person quite working for the company and all the company’s customers followed him.
They company shuttered their doors a few months later.
This has been happening for decades. A man builds a business with a good woman. The man decides he wants a romantic fling and divorces the good woman. The man winds up marrying the floozy, who thinks they are God's gift to profits and proceeds to ruin the business. It happens with such regularity, it should have a syndrome named after it.
The spoiled son and daughter are just variants.
Haha my dad built a company with my mom helping him out and they ran it together and she left us for a 24 year old in 2008 as the family company was tanking.... she asked my dad to hire the 24 year old loser she left us for and he did it! They shared a fucking office together and my dad hired her boy toy and they weren't even divorced yet! She completely left on a friday out of the blue and expected to continue working with my dad and sharing an office with him like everything was cool. I was 14 and my brother was 17 at the time when this all started and I'm proud to say that we have zero relationship with my bat shit crazy mother. (She also cashed in my florida pre paid college tuition and took half like it was an asset in the divorce.) She wonders why we won't have anything to do with her. And that was all the tip of the iceberg.
Jesus, have you thought about writing a novel (with names changed)?
She could write this as a script for an existing soap opera and sell it to the studio ...
Sorry that would be a no, go... You missed today's important article...
"1, 2, 3 New Rules"

(Trust me, this is worth the read)
WOW! Finally someone else with a GOT family drama like mine and my wife’s!! Thank you for letting me know that folks like us are not alone. Here’s to bat shit crazy mother’s! (Raises glass)
People can take and be assholes but good always prevails. Good people will always survive, find a way and be happy. You guys sound like you are doing great.
Your dad is a cuckold of epic proportions.
I hope your dad got rid of the guy then.... or make him disappear...
The guy owed the husband almost nothing compared to the loyalty and commitment the wife owed him.
I'm not giving the new boy toy a pass, I'm just saying that, of the two of them, the wife bears most of the blame.
If only it would work with Bezos
Take government out of the equation and it would. Never forget Amazon did not get where it is legitimately. It operated at a loss for years to drive out competition and create a monopoly. While at the same time being given sweet heart tax breaks, and having the US government ship it's merchandise from the other side of the planet almost for free.
Amazon has always been one of Obama's tools to help bring down the USA.
Jeff’s wife was also instrumental in building the company and helping it float and function in the early years.
China subsidizes all the cheap shipping coming out of their ports to get to the amazon warehouses, USPS subsidizes the local delivery (taking the expensive areas where it's not worth the postage to drive out to people. In cities where they can do it cheaper amazon keeps it in-house.)
Amazon is far from alone. Just look at any major corporation.
Me and my small business would be so fucking RICH... if I could do what they did...
I got no take breaks to operate my business. I got no "incentives" to operate my business from Commerce or local government, or from the state.
It would so great if I could set up my own tax shelter in which I funnel (enter Maxine W.) my children millions... 🤬
Right on...
Divorce is super expensive -- on so many levels -- most folks just don't quite understand.
Spoiled children are also super expensive!
expensive yes, but worth every penny often times!
I left with my life, so there was that! Thank God something told mr to never have his kid.
I believe nepotism fits the bill.
*nepotism, friendly correction
The Yoko Ono Effect
Boss gets lazy and unattentive, employees are the front line and the lead guy gets tired of taking care of everything and not getting paid for it and finally leaves. I've seen it quite a few times.
Now my favorite appliance repair person is super busy and making bank.
He actually complained the other day that he wished he had more time to relax at his newly renovated camp ...
If you are near Grand Rapids or Hickory I was probably the guy that set him getting out in motion. 2 different states.
Neither
I am in New York
I have a relative who does pressure washing rooftops and sidewalks. He has a very high reputation with his customers because does a great job and even does minor tasks like clearing a pile of dirt clogging a gutter at no extra charge every so often. He got so busy he had to hire a partner; yet their schedules still got booked solid.
You reminded me of him when you wrote "all the company’s customers followed him" because I guarantee my relative's customers will panic when he retires, lol
you know -- everyone talks about college education and higher education and how everyone has to go $150k in debt to get a job and all of these fancy schmancy careers in order to be happy and satisfied...
BUT
I am telling you I pay just about whatever my plumber, electrician, chimney repair guy, appliance repair guy, dry waller and painter, HVAC guy, mason quote for a job. They do fantastic work at a fair price.
I spend about 2 months of my life tiling floors, bathrooms, and kitchen because after three shots hiring a pro I decided I could do a better job, regardless of price -- and with no experience, I did.
We need more great trades people because they keep everything running.
I am super happy you have a relative who values his work and does a fantastic job -- that is the American way.
I have an 18 year old who was tired of how pointless school was. He took his GED (got a 97) and skipped his senior year to just do work and get a jump on life. I've told him that if you don't like school and the garbage now, college will be much worse.
Many of the guys I grew up with went into trades and earn much more than most who went to college and went heavily in debt. No matter what happens, people will always need "real" work done. Plus he can skip the indoctrination.
you must know yourself and do what is right for you
so long as you know how to read, write, do arithmetic and mathematics, and know basic science, as well as civics and history, essentially you can pass a GED
you are the master of your destiny
I tell my grandsons this all the time! Any monkey at a keyboard can bang out grievance bleats learned at 100k Institutions, but it takes a SMART person to fix things.
And that is 100% true...
...I hope your grandkids listen to you.
Yep, start with getting the high-schools to bring back vocational programs
YES
I have been saying this for decades....
And bring back home economics...
It's not even intentional "customer theft" most of the time. My customers like me. They find out I'm no longer with the company, they just contact me directly and ask me to do work for them. I've turned down some of the work, but it's hard to say no when people say "I want you" and agree to consulting rates.
that's absolutely correct. at the end of the day - business is about relationships
Haha
This, get you a batch of business cards and hand em out to the customers you've built relationships with. Once they see someone working in their pool that has no idea what they are doing, they will be quick to give you a call!
She's not going into the pool business, but remodeling. Substantial customer overlap ...
She's buying her friends pool route, owner financed, and he's also going to teach her remodeling. She's def gonna still be doing pools.
Find a way to conversationally let your current households know you are moving on. Maybe do a postcard dropoff along your routes - with your pic or something so they know its you. Here’s to better days!
Definitely a mailer with a pic. Amazing how effective this can be ...
Amen
Well, I think it's a different line of work, but definitely don't recommend that place.
Funny because years ago I made Pool Covers. We made custom Pool Covers and had a team that would install the motors that would operate them and another team repair the motors if those would break. I was glad to be done with that place and I know you will be much happier too!! Good Luck to you.
Congratulations! My dad and I are pool guys! We spent about ten years building up a really solid route. Couple of months ago we sold it and moved to georgia. We bought a new route here, and we couldn't be happier. We had no idea how much our income could change state to state, but we are making between double and triple what we are used to. Since you are just getting started owning your own company, keep that in mind. Not sure where you are based, but the further you get from the Mexican border the greater your income will be.
This is my very earnest advice: unless you are a doctor or lawyer or architect or something like that where you can rise up in a big firm and get a 200k+ salary at some point and benefits etc., then start a business doing whatever you do now. I have a tech company and make way more than many very well educated tech guys that know way more than me. I even employ some of them. No one even asks my credentials and whatever I'm asked to quote on, I say "we have an expert at that" and then I find an expert. I need to know my field of course, but the point is to just be brave and start your own thing.
Try not to hire people until you really need to. Use consultants, or subcontractors until you have to hire. Don't get an office space until you absolutely have to. Advertise lots but without entering contracts and without spending it all on a couple big ads. Use lots of small ads and measure which ones work best. And charge a good rate and do good service. Don't bottom feed and end up working for stingy misers.
The only commitment you want early on, possibly, is it's good to have a partner but make sure you know the person, know they work hard and share your basic views on things.
We all need to stop working for these private sector collectivists. Two years ago I gave up a pretty good corporate job and bought a small business. This is the only way to empower the average American and de-fang the elitists.
Also we need to network and give each other business. I'm in Canada (cuck central now). Planning to move my business to the US (or buy a similar business there) and network heavily with other based companies. Use each other's services wherever possible.
If anyone with tech skills wants to help me put together a "Red State Referral Network," I'll start working with you tomorrow.
What's tricky is before you know it, you're being harassed or blacklisted.
The only solution I can come up with is to personally join clubs, groups, etc and network. You take a big risk tying your company to a stance politically.
This is great advice. If I had to do it all over, I'd be an electrician or some sort of tradesman that could go independent eventually. Would have been way easier and more portable than my skillset (I have my own company, but it took a lot more to get to this point).
I told my son and daughter to find something they like doing and start a business.
This is how you do it. Work for yourself. I started a business 10 years ago. I make roughly triple what I was making before, doing exactly the same thing
Any advice on advertising? I have absolutely no idea where to start. How important do you think having a website (besides google my business and bookface) is?
She should be careful. The truck might accidentally get scratched with a key-like object as they squeeze by.
Somehow I doubt she'll have any trouble finding a replacement.
Did you just gender the OP? Shame.
Nepotism is an ugly thing.
"eventually"? Ha! Within a few months at the most!
MAGA starts with people like you!
I quit my job of 5 years in August after boss flipped his wig and cussed me .. I gave them a 2 day notice.. Went home for lunch after gathering my stuff from the office, wrote my resignation letter, went back to HR office and said I'm leaving today
I had a similar, though less rapid exit once. Boss was a known bi-polar executive who used to routinely cuss people out. I always said that if he ever tries that with me I'm out. Of course, eventually he did. In fact, his behavior issues were affecting managers all over the building and blowups and sometimes fights were becoming routine. The most hilarious part is that it took me one week to find another job and the day I went in to quit he offered me a promotion. I still resigned.
unmedicated bipolar execs are absolutely the worst. I work underneath of one on one of my projects, I take zero shit from him. He wants to cuss me out for nothing? I'll publicly berate him without reserve. That usually settles him down for the day. I don't care if I get fired for it, never accept that kind of behavior.
Once told my boss that he may talk to his other employees like shit, but if he talks to me that way again I would break his nose. Then I went home. Another of my bosses called and asked me to come back and they apologised. The bloke in question never did talk to me like that again. Stand your ground with shit people.
Reminds me of a less dramatic episode a couple of years ago with my company. I do software training for new customers and it had been fully 2 or more years since I’d done technical support. But when they ran into staffing problems they would ask me flex back into that role, which I flatly refused. I’m not doing a job you don’t pay or train me for. One day my manager lets me know that the c-level Customer Care director was directly ordering me (through my manager, of course) to take tech support calls or I’d be fired. I’ve never liked this woman who was our director to begin with. Always thought she was a bitch on wheels and had no clue how to build team cohesion. I looked my manager in the eye, snickered a bit, and said, “ok. If that’s how it’s gonna be. I’m not going to be coerced into doing a job that I’m not paid or remotely trained for.” Called her bluff completely. Never heard a peep about it again and I’m still with that company. As you said, stand your ground.
Nicely done. Managers rarely know how to deal with you when you don't take their BS.
Exactly. Stand your ground. You only get the respect you demand.
“Exactly. Stand your ground. You only get the respect you demand”. This is exactly why we didnt get anywhere with vote fraud.
Straight up bro. I work construction and people like to straight abuse workers they think are beneath them. I have always been willing to walk from a job no hesitation and I will NEVER just take disrespect and move on.
I’m in recovery from IV heroin and meth and living the drug life came with potential consequences (prison, robbery, withdrawal, homelessness, disease, death) that make the possibility of losing my job as a consequence for standing up for myself fucking comical.
These bullies act tough but when they meet someone who is down to give them the conflict they’ve been pretending to look for, they don’t want it.
I'm also in construction, and I've definately noticed that anyone who's ever faced major consequences in their life (arrests, jail, prison, etc) will 100% laugh in your face if you threaten them with write ups.
Glad to see you on the road to recovery brother. Keep up the good fight. We need you at your peak, ready to MAGA :)
Construction here. Lucky I’m in delivering building materials. The way asshole bosses talk to there guys is completely unacceptable. I work with a small pool and always see their high turnaround, why keep the guy responsible for losing the workers is something that baffles me endlessly.
“I work construction and people like to straight abuse workers they think are beneath them.“. You should have been at my place when I got my singlewide replaced with a doublewide. They poured the cement apron after the patio bricks were already laid down and of course it wouldnt drain properly. They had to relay the patio blocks but the drainage still wasnt right and I made a fuss and made them do it again. BUT I baked them cookies and pies and cinnamon rolls the entire time to keep their morale up. You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar
I work for one of the more inattentive types. Everything is great until the next second we have a crisis that has to be dealt with RIGHT NOW.
I'd had enough one day last summer, and told her how the cows eat the cabbage. I got called in for a reprimand with her and a higher up, blah blah blah...the good news is she steers clear of me now and hassles other people.
I worked at a place where the main owner was fine, but when he'd go on vacation a bi-polar brother would be in charge for the time he was away. He purposely would stop taking his medication during this time because he thought it made him more with it or something. I don't know. Total nightmare.
I started taking time off whenever the main owner did to avoid the other guy.
No, coke head control freak bosses are worse. I had one of those, early on.
Oh God there's so much coke in construction
Good job!
Thats real power.
Years ago I sold cars. Went to work at a dealer with a reputation for screaming at their salespeople. I told them when they hired me, you ever yell at me and I'm gone, I will not tolerate it. Worked there for 2 years (top salesman 90% of the time). One morning the owner and manager were lit and started screaming (they always avoided me until this day). I stood up, said "Goodbye" and walked out. The Manager says "Don't slam the door"... nope, closed it gently. Went to my desk and packed my shit as they stood there in disbelief I was really leaving. I walked out. A week later they were blowing up my phone begging me to come back. Never did. Never would. Jobs are everywhere. They were the ones who lost all the revenue I was generating.
Rule #1: "I Will Not Be Abused."
Rule #1 in consulting is "Fuck you, pay me." Abuse just has a higher rate.
Jobs are everywhere but I still thank God for granting me the strength, intellect, and work ethic to procore the positions I want and work them in the way I feel is right.
I value the courage He granted me even more because that is a rare commodity in today’s workforce. So rare that in my experience, people don’t even know how to react when I don’t take their shit so they just move on to an easier target or back off the issue period.
Self employment is a pain in the ass that will make you question yourself frequently. It will also strengthen your conservative values. Also, there is NOTHING like being your own boss. You'll never go back to working for someone else. It's a true feeling of liberty. Don't give up ever. Just work harder. Good luck from a self-employed pede of 15 years.
Thanks. I've always been big on self integrity. This way I can be free and take pride in my work without sacrificing my integrity. My dad always owned his own company and we did well until we lost everything in 2008. I never in my life imagined that I would be stuck working the same 9-5 job while making somebody else rich. It's time to go.
Get a great accountant. Like, ask a bunch of self-employed people who they use and find the best. It took me 4 accountants before I found a great one. It makes all the difference in the world.
Eta: If you're in South Jersey I can hook you up.
This is a great point! My sister in law discovered her accountant was robbing her blind and claiming all her taxes. Turns out the lady got 5 or 6 businesses in a small town. They all used her so they all recommended her and then she stole from them all.
What do you look for in an accountant that makes him good in your experience? I’m currently getting my accounting degree and am always asking what people look for so I can make sure to set myself up for success and help better serve people that need it.
bills/taxes paid on time. Seems obvious but.....
able to simplify and summarize and then drill down when needed. I want to get a very high-level overview of my finances, recent changes, and your suggestions. And then in the areas that need attention or whatever we can drill down together, but don't start off by burying me in dozens of numbers (and I say that as a numbers guy).
Transparency.
Awesome! Good to see what businesses look for and struggle through so I know what they’re looking for.
If you want to go above and beyond: Optimize the work you do for your client. We had one guy who took hours and hours (and of course billed us for all of them). Our new accountant was like "I automated this, optimized that, combined all these things. I should only need to work 1/4 of the hours as the old guy, but my hourly rate will be double" (I don't remember if it was actually double, maybe 150%).
Hell yeah, we're happy to pay half as much for the same outcome, and now he can go get more accounts and make even more money. And we recommended him for a friend's business because he'll save them money and we aren't worried about distracted him from our numbers.
simple. Trustworthy, honest, and do whats expected of you. You think that sounds simple, but the story of accountants failing to file in time, or other lazy mistakes, is pretty common.
Thanks! Seems like just having integrity will make someone a very lucrative accountant for small businesses.
Yeah my buddy said his first accountant screwed him and didnt file his taxes in time or something. He told me that he still double checks everything because he doesn't trust anybody 👍🏼
Interesting thing about our tax system: the only check or balance on it is someone called an "enrolled agent with the IRS." The title is bass ackwards. What it means is if their client ever gets audited, all the IRS can do is aak them why they are wrong and why the enrolled agent is right.
It's assumed that at that point in their career, their ethics are beyond reproach. None of this means they have to be expensive, or good. A CPA will sneer at this idea, yet they have 0 clout in an audit.
Hope you don’t mind a little life experience advice. Pay the business before you pay yourself (future growth), don’t grow too big or too fast (stability and duration), ONLY hire employees who have been thoroughly vetted (even the most seemingly honest person can end up a snake in the grass).
“ My dad always owned his own company and we did well until we lost everything in 2008.“. We are just pawns in the big government game..they dont care what impact their decisions make on the people...they just want to enrich themselves through corrupt shenanigans
Came to say something like this. I worked for a few landscaping companies and enjoyed what I did, but not the dysfunctional bosses I had. One day during a sixty hour week, working for $10 an hour, hungry, thirsty and irritated that I had no life, I decided I could do this myself. So I did, and it's been the best three and a half years ever.
The covid shutdowns went after small businesses because it wipes out the conservative middle class and makes them dependent on the government.
<< Self employment is a pain in the ass that will make you question yourself frequently. >>
Self-employed 27 years. Sometimes the definition of self-employed success is that the lights are still on and you have one more meal in the fridge. BUT not answering to a boss/company/HR is worth everything. If you hustle and work smart, it can be a good life.
Honestly my life has been much better since I started my own business.
Your ex bf will be much happier living his truth as a homosexual.
Was going to say. The ex bf sounds like a complete tool shack.
Covid Cuck
Wuhan Floozy
Good Luck and please take a picture of the deranged voodoo doll. I would like to see it. TDS is hilarious
A speech bubble with "TDS is hillarious" is the perfect parting addition to the voodoo doll.

Incorporate. Seriously. The tax advantages (as of today) are incredible. Hire yourself as an employee.
Deduct $$$$
Incorporate 2 entities: 1 as the company, the other to own your equipment. If you ever get sued all your company can pay is just the money that you leave in the account for monthly expenses.
Self-employment from a home office gives many people greater advantages. These are options to explore.
Hell yeah, incorporating is expensive but the liability protection alone could be a huge gain for someone.
Edit: looks like according to some responses down below, it’s not even that expensive (states may vary obviously)
Incorporating costs $500 in my State.
Incorporating does make you subject to double taxation (corporate profits are taxed, then whatever you pay yourself is taxed at the individual level).
But it does allow you limit your liability, and sometimes allows you to expense things you otherwise normally wouldn't.
S-Corp vs C-Corp. I'm pretty sure OP was referring to S (pass through), but your response is in regards to C (double taxation). Definitely needs to be more clear about it.
For clarification, I think that you mean incorporate as an S-Corp (not a C-Corp... unless you plan on taking outside investment or going public).
S-Corp income is a pass-through as far as taxes on profits are concerned, whereas a C-Corp is a totally separate entity and pays taxes separately and you'll also pay income taxes on what you take home/distribution.
You couldn't have been happy with a boy who embraces fear and weakness, and you couldn't have been happy with a boss who embraces hatred and ignorance. Congratulations on the positive advancements in your life.
It used to stress my wife out when I'd do battle for not wearing my mask. I get all in "you can't make me do shit" mode and it frightens her. But then I noticed her get sick of seeing me get attitude from these cunts so she will chew you out before I even will if she hears someone mutter some insult. I let it roll off my back usually because I feel like I took a whole bottle of SuperMale Vitality® when I say no and stand up to the mask Nazis. I can't describe the feeling it's like being high on a drug. First the adrenaline kinda hits then wears off but this feeling of "I punched the bully in the face today at school and he cried" kind of feeling.
Like I said she gets upset in the moment but afterwards she gets so turned on in a primal way seeing that her man isn't a cuck and stands for what he believes is right.
I am willing to go to jail or get killed trying to save our way of life and stand up for myself and family against this tyranny. Idk if it's smart or advantageous to me personally. Maybe I have a Martyr syndrome. But my go to when someone accosts me like Burrito Chad is "get away from me, call the police!" They react scared or shocked. One supermarket manager did threaten to call but he never did. I hung out another 15 minutes and laughed at him on my way out. Told him and his other manager they're pathetic cowards.
People please listen don't offend anyone crazy and make sure you have means to protect yourself. But 99% of these mask enforcers have no real ability to make you stay covered. Another tactic of mine is to wear my fake medical exemption ID card. that works most of the time with ease.
But it's time for civil disobedience. Go into the post office unmasked. Go to any public space. They'll tell you to leave or mask up. I have literally just refused and watched em crumble because most of these people don't get paid enough.
I'm also not suggesting people be rude. In fact the opposite. Start off kind always. Don't speak in a hostile way until they start first. In fact it's best to pretend they don't even exist I've done that before. That one stuns them. They don't know how to react to someone who's pretending they can't see or hear them. Call it childish if you want but if even 1 or 2% of us had the courage to do it we would have ended this long ago.
THIS. Women aren't made for conflict so it will make them uneasy, but they are attracted to the strength of standing up for yourself. I never ever wear a mask but unfortunately I don't have a lady to impress right now haha. I even remember seeing an emo total Bernie chick giving me the eyes at Publix a while ago, I think no mask was a part of that.
I bet you there's ladies checking you out without your mask on. (Assuming your not hideously ugly). Not just because you are facially attractive but because the BDE radiating off you.
Love when someone confronts me for not having a mask... I proceed into a polite tirade of belittling the morons and explaining how their face diapers (that they keep touching) are spreading germs everywhere. They usually shut up. The ones that really piss me off are the ones who give me looks and talk under their breath. Say something Faggot! Dare you.
Call them cowards. It is what they truly are.
I only wish you were describing a "regular American." I used to think this was normal here. Is rare, and I am disappoint.
Fun fact: Andre the Giant was a baby boomer! Born in '47.
You can’t always change others, but you can always change yourself.
Good for you. You have too much talent to be wasted by a greedy spoiled twit and her lazy boyfriend. You are doing your part to MAGA. 👌
Im a dude with panic disorder, you gotta make the fear motivate you from behind instead of standing in your way.
And never make your problems someone elses.
Best of luck to you! Can you take the voodoo doll before you leave?!
Haha, put a tiny little resignation note in its hand.
EPIC. :D
Replace it with a my little pony unicorn.
That's hilarious :)
We have the best people!
Good luck.
Good for you, and Godspeed patriot!!
You go girl! I’ve been considering the same thing for a number of months now. Stupid Covid rules that don’t make sense. The only time I even wear a mask(face shield) is at this job. And I’m about to the point where I’m like, fuck it. Good luck to you and don’t worry about your ex, seems like you she’s dead weight on that one anyway.
You sound like a swell gal.
Also chicks in construction kleeeen up just don’t get bogged down in the losers.
We need to employ the same tactics they use.
Sounds like you're making the right decision. You don't want to be earning $15 for the rest of your life(and working with problematic people).
You sound super hot
As a small business owner, I'm very excited for you as you take your next step. I'm not sure how non-competes work in your state, but oftentimes you can take on a former client if they approach you. Be sure to network and get involved with companies that share your values so you can look out for each other. I didn't get a lot out of my college economics class, but one of the things I still remember is that one of our great natural resources is our entrepreneurs.
High energy!!! Get it!!! The Trump curse will take care of your soon-to-be former employer. Best of luck to you!
OMG congratulations. I actually lost my job due to inhumane mask mandates. I am going to work from home for shit pay, because I will become confrontational with anyone who says a word about me not wearing a mask. I got into a pissing match online with the City Code Enforcement (also an ex boss and disgruntled employee from the company I worked for) When I realized I was in a bitching match with the city, I backed down. She is one miserable human being, so are the other two code that they hired, vengeful, sarcastic, nasty, miserable humans. Bitch sent a screen shot to my boss before I even made it to work. I got fired. Now, I do what ever I want. I'm out of the rat race... bwahahahahha - but I really need a job. Good luck to you. Once you get a taste of working for self, you will never be able to work comfortably for anyone else ever again. They do it ALL wrong.
Trades people come here, first thing I tell them is, "Take off the face diaper. You don't need it here." Side effect is they give me their very best performance, with a big smile.
I work in people's homes. Often for healthcare workers. Not one wears a mask in their home. The first thing they do is shake my hand. No 6' of separation. They know herd immunity is how we beat this.
please don't fuck your ex bf.
Never wrap your pussy around crazy.
This. Kek
Good for you. Pool cleaning and service is a great career. You have minimal investment upfront and it only takes a small amount of training to become more knowledgeable than 80% of the homeowners out there. Plus you can work at night and kick back in the day. Not saying it is going to be easy but you can do it if you work hard at it. Good luck!
Uh dude, you can't read for shit. She's getting out of pool cleaning and going into remodeling.
They don't deserve you. MAGA on !
Proud of you and praying for you
If you made it known that you're MAGA then that sign was probably for you. She would more than likely fire you first thing. People like that won't even care about having to pay you unemployment; they just want you gone.
MAGA, welcome to freedom.
This is the way. Distance yourself from everything anti-Trump/pro-commie.
Make them hire their own.
Make the buy from each other.
Make them realize they are small.
Make sure you read this post to your current boss on your way out the door.
I ran my family company for several decades but my younger brother wanted in on it. He had received his law degree and MBA but I knew he was trouble. Since I also had my own business completely unrelated to my family business(by the way I didn’t get paid for running the family business) I decided okay let the shmuck have a go at it. With in 6 months we had lost 50% of our business, clients who had been with us for 10+ years literally called me up and said that your brother is a complete asshole and that they would never do any business with him. Guess who’s pro Trump and who’s Pro Biden? It gets better, the only job he could hold down was a government job, even here he gets bounced around every two years. We are seriously fucked, because of his degrees he has administrative positions.
Go hard girl
Good decision. Good luck 👍
Looks like you have a solid plan. Good work
You know if you're going to be self employed contractor or whatever this new venture is, 2 weeks notice is just not needed. I'd just quit and say it's your daughter, she's not worth it - I quit. But to each their own.
Steal the customers and put that bitch out of business
Good for you. I plan on leaving my job by the fall and moving to Florida to get a new one without covid nonsense. And I would never date a man afraid of covid. Just makes him look like a weak-minded, gullible fool. You can do much better, and you will.
Go and become the biggest pool Queenpin on the block!
Seen that kind of person get ahold of a business, give her five years and it will be in the toilet. So your getting out while the gettings good
You get em girl!!
This will be GREAT!
Best of luck sister pede, kick ass!
Sorry but my first question is where can I find a woman like you?
Congratulation on your new future.
Now this is a maga! I am certain you will look back and see all this is a blessing from God, sounds like an awful environment to work in! and your ex sounds like a cuck, probably broke up with you to bang his step dad
Yes, yes, yes!
Some of my best opportunities in work life came from leaving crap situations, including when I didn’t even have another job lined up.
This is going to be awesome.
MAGA
Two weeks notice is a courtesy, quit now and tell them they’ll be seeing you again in six months when you start taking their customers.
She will destroy that company within two years of taking over.
Good luck!! I see success in your future.
Nice. Don't understand the breaking up over covid, I know someone who split up because covid kept them apart in two different countries for a year... but he breaks up because he's afraid of leaving the house to see you? Is that really a thing? Sounds like somebody's ready for the soyviet union to me. Good luck with everything, go get em!
People like you hold people like that up. We need to stop propping up trash like this n go our own way.
Godspeed, female pede.
