the saddest part is that many blacks do look at that as "representation" as if that means anything! these superficial changes do nothing to help the black community!
i've never, ever looked at a bill and said that guy looks white like me, so now i'm going to work/study harder and do something important with my life.
nor have i ever said my life really does matter to the country i'm in because a white guy is on the money i spend! whether its a picture of ben franklin or a monument, its never made me feel any sort of way!
they'll put tubman on a bill and 10 years later the black community will still be faced with the same problems...
