Met a few people from the SES circa 2012-ish. They all had these really odd owls head rings on that they tried their best to not show. Creepy looking, with deeply dished eyes.
Didn't know if there was something to it. Has been filed under "huh. weird." In my head since then. Saw the capital outline the other day. Very similar looking head to the owl.

The rings were real, at least back then. Silver, creepy looking things.
I've read the bohemian Grove thing, but the images I saw back then are not the same owls. Plus, Nixon, so a little disinclined to believe it.
