That's been the goal of communists since the cold war, so yea I hate to say it but we should probably be doing that. I always hated nepotism but so long as we as a society hold institutions with regard and respect, any and all conspirators will be trying to infiltrate. So why not us? really sucks but it's the reality at this point. All I freakin' want is to be left alone, but at this point the real battle is between People who want to solve their own problems without the need for Government, vs People who can't leave others alone. Social Planners, Opinion Makers, Meddlers, Schemers, Social Engineers, etc need to be put back in check from time to time.
Its not even corruption or nepotism, its just the function of the state that our founders established. I totally get this quasi-Libertarian "I just want to grill for gods sake!" mindset, but the political right has been absolutely stupid in pursuing this.
Somewhere along the Bush years I clearly remember Republicans and right wingers discouraging participation in institutions like media or entertainment or academia or even in politics. This idea that all you needed was the business sector to control the world and the silly liberals can have their little philosophy classes and movies or school board positions. But the last 10+ years has proven just what a fucking horrible mistake that mindset was.
Even when Obama won there was this desperate move towards libertarianism with the Tea Party and I think this was like the people on the titanic scrambling for lifeboats. They realized they fucked up and progressives now had the upper hand so they the moved to this live and let live idea, thinking the leftist can have their little circles while the right could have theirs, but this was a foolish idea too. And now even the one position the Bush era Republicans held dearest, business, is theirs through HR departments. Every major global corporation is all about BLM and the average SJW is now heading million dollar diversity seminar sessions for Dow Chemical. Yeah thats so great that you laughed at SJW pink haired freaks in 2013 while telling others not to go to college, well now those SJW hold positions of power in Academia, Media, Tech, Business, and Government and they have NO hangups on using that power.
Our system of government was set up to be used by us, the founders werent these retarded anarchist like some libertarians love to claim, they created a Republic. And republics only work for you if you use them.
The truth of the matter is the United States of America that exists now is not what it was founded to be, and certainly not what it once was, even 100 years ago. There is a multitude of reasons as to why, and it's certainly not only because of human political ideas. Becoming a superpower screwed us in a lot of ways, while also making us far more powerful than we would have been otherwise. It painted a massive target on our back that seeks the attention of external and internal eyes.
If you want to fuck off into the woods and be left alone, there are better options. At least most of them are in the New World. Sadly, after what we just witnessed for the last 4 years, specifically in the last 4 months, I'm not sure what's worth saving anymore. I don't think people on our side even grasp how far gone our country is politically. It's not something that can be altered by a changing of the guard. If George Wash could exist here for a day, I don't think he'd see the country he helped found, nor would he see his country under duress. I think he would see an evil entity that should be destroyed, one far worse than George III's England.
Hence why I want my civil war to burn it all down to the ground in the most brutalistic and bloody fashion imaginable. However, I do not believe they will tank the economy. So the motivation for change will not be there. I and so many others will be withdrawing from society to focus on God and family, and of course secession.
The systematic coercion and parasitism of government is undesirable regardless of who wields it.
The more power you give it to do things you want, the more the leftists will adopt this power to do what THEY want.
If you care about Liberty, the only solution is to minimize or eliminate the power of government to interfere with ANY people for any reason other than to prevent aggression against peaceful people and their property.
Our government is a constitutional Republic. Our respective branches and levels of elected positions have certain levels of power that mesh and clash with each other to, in theory, work to counteract and balance each other out so no one position can become too powerful. Thats just the reality of it and it doesnt matter if you like this system or not.
And the whole point of holding those positions is to use the power granted by them in a responsible way that betters the lives of the people you represent, the people that voted for you through your own worldview. The people put you into that position because they agree with your worldview anyway.
Leftist get this and dont waste anytime using the Republic how it was meant to be. Meanwhile, the right is filled with hold over goobers from the lolbertarian days who have no grasp of this and think you should never obtained institutional power, or if you do, just sit on it and do nothing as a way to prevent others from using it. This move is useless anyway and just delays the inevitable since no one can hold onto a position forever and once your out, they will just get it and use it. If you ever feel frustrated and it seems like all the GOP does is lose, this is why.
The constitution is a total failure at restricting the power of government, one need only look at the state of the 2nd amendment to see this.

No if you DO get power in government, the correct course of action is to use that power to roll back the scope of the State, not to do nothing like the useless republicans.
The constitution is a piece of power. Thats not me shitting on it or being disrespectful, its just the reality that the only way the bill of rights is upheld is if the American people defend it. There have been cases where specifically 2A cases were successfully challenged. Times when dems or leftist used their state power to violate someones 2A rights only for them to challenge this in our Republics courts and for judges to examine the cases and rule in favor of the 2A (McDonald v. Chicago for example)
"If you ever gain power you should immediately cuck yourself and become powerless! That'll show'em!"
lol no. Im going to make sure this goofball understanding of politics in trashed forever.
This is why its important to take and hold institutional power and use that power to help friends. Anyone advocating anything different is an idiot.

Long ass post incoming, but...
