It is in the Catholic and orthodox bibles. Protestant bibles removed this and the Books of Wisdom.

You must be like really old school or something. Now a days, they find value in books of the Old Testament. You can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know you’re where you’ve been. Open up a little. The Old Testament is you’re friend and guide.

Yes but Maccabees is not part of it.

Not part of what? It’s IN the Catholic bible and in other orthodox bibles. It’s not in any of the Protestant bibles. The Bible is 1 book. It’ has both the new and Old Testament. The Protestants used to have books like the rest of us, but removed some.

If you didn't know the Bible was Canonized before they added the Apocrypha when they had it in the Authorized Bible it was between the OT & NT & was Clearly Marked w/"APOCRYPHA" on Top of Each Page of those books. < They have never been Canon ever.

For giggles, say I agree with everything you say about canonization, I am still going a step beyond you and saying that the information in those books are relevant and useful for people to read today. The government intentionally ran a bunch of foreigners into the land and tried to force a sort of globalization of the times; one language, one culture.

These books aren’t for ‘chosen’ secret societies. Any and all should read.
