These people tend to have either very well paying government "jobs", I use that term very generously, or are unemployed. There's rarely any inbetween.

But if your ever in need of an Über based horror author to take a break from Stephen Kings TDS riddled brain, Lovecraft is your guy

I can't watch any of them, the few I have seen left me with nightmares for months. Holds for books too, tried to read Diary of a Vampire, had to stop after the first page or two.

When I was around 4 we went to see Snow White. This was before TV. When the witch dipped the apple into the kettle and it turned into a skull, I lost it, dove beneath the seat and started crawling out of the theatre screaming. They had to stop the show to get me out from beneath the seats.

Everything is still very real to me, which does have an upside but the downside is a bit of a rush :)
