Yes, I know there is more to an internet backbone than satellites, but a up/down satellite network would be ideal fro a new "Satellite Free America."
The big question would be if Musk has the cajones to actually do it.

That's pretty much nothing, unless those satellites also happen to be data centers, which would be pretty retarded, being in space and all.
If you own the data center, and have a way to effectively bypass the terrestrial communications networks, it is a whole lot easier to say "Fuck You" to big tech when they try to force you to censor content.
