Lowest TV viewership since 2007. Much worse than booing. We unplugged them.

This makes me happy. I also boycotted. The whole season. And I would literally watch about 12 hours of NFL football every week.

You couldn't pry me away from the teevee on a football Sunday starting in the mid-nineteen sixties. Lost interest long before the kneeling fiasco and wasn't watching much by the time Janet Jackson flopped her ugly milk-sack out for the world to see in a halftime show.

Took a while to figure out why I lost interest. First it looked like free agency was the spoiler. Then maybe the lame rule changes that made a one-and-a-half hour (real time) game take three hours to play? Then there was the fact that my disinterest grew as the number of indoor stadia increased; no more mud mud mud, dammit. Forget the "fog bowl" game and the 10 degree games and the snowing so hard there is a white-out -- it's an indoor arena game now.

Not interested...

I was at the Fog Bowl ! At halftime we couldn't see a thing from our seats so we walked across Michigan Avenue and watched it at an Irish bar in the Hilton. Chicago. Early 90's. $35 / ticket.
