They care about signature verification now? When did that happen?

How Obama eliminated opponents by knocking them off the ballot

In 1996, Barack Obama used signature matching rules to his advantage in his first political race for state Senate in South Side Chicago. Yet, Obama also said last week that there is “no legal basis” for President Trump’s assertions that votes counted in 2020 should only be the legal ones, and rules equally applied to all voters.

I didn't know about this. I've looked into Obama's political history fairly significantly and I've seen him flip-flop on matters. Not surprised that this is one of them.

Fascinating isn't it?!

The hypocrisy of the Left is UNREAL. In Cali I can walk into a voter booth give nothing but my name/address and vote for a dead person who lived next door. ZERO ID required.

How is there not at least 3M people who have signed this thing?

11
LindaSarsourCunt [S] 11 points ago +11 / -0

So, I can only speak from my experience, so just know I could be 100% incorrect.

Almost everyone I have sent this to via text message has not been aware of this entire petition. In other words, information and awareness about this recall campaign have been inhibited.

Gtrfan 5 points ago +5 / -0

That makes sense. Millions would sign if they knew, I'm sure.

The vast majority of the signatures are supposedly from people who have remained apolitical for the most part. Covid was simply the last straw for a lot of them because it has ruined their businesses.

Who knows? But we can't just roll over and let another one get elected. At a minimum, a MAGA candidate needs to enter the race, and this site should assist in every way possible.

If the next guy is a clown, recall him as well. This should be the normal and expected result for governors that screw over their state. We should make these recalls happen more often to keep politicians from getting comfortable and force them to campaign (and work) every day.

I think this just allows it to go to a special vote to eject him. If it passes, we vote for another Governor.

Why is there a deadline?

4
LindaSarsourCunt [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Usually there are deadlines for petitions. The deadline was originally back in November, but they extended the deadline due to Covid.

Thank you

They have a sheet with like 30 spaces for names and signatures. If a single person goes outside the lines they have to throw away the entire thing.

When is the deadline? I signed with my own blood.

What’s the end-state though? Does the LtGov take over? Is there a runoff to elect a brand new one Gov?

1
LindaSarsourCunt [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

There will be an election to elect a new governor. I'd run, myself, but I'm not a spotlight kind of guy.
