Philip Haney, retired Department of Homeland Security Agent turned whistleblower. In May 2016, he released a book called 'See Something Say Nothing' that alleged the Obama admin was basically criminally negligent in its handling of terrorist attacks by islamic radicals and that he was ordered to turn a blind eye to cases of them. Almost exactly 1 year ago he was found dead from a gunshot wound. It was originally circulated that it was a suicide, but the sheriff who was in charge of the case immediately spoke out and said they had never claimed this.

William Binney, former NSA agent who retired in 2002 turned whistleblower. He along with J. Kirk Wiebe and Edward Loomis asked the DoD to investigate the NSA for wasting millions of dollars on their 'TrailBlazer' program which collected bulk amounts of data instead of their preferred 'ThinThread' system. ThinThread didnt collect as much bulk data, was cheaper to develop, and would focus on more important info to analyze compared to TrailBlazer which collected any and everything from everyone, cost more, and made it harder to analyze for important info due to the volume of data it collected. Binney said it was a system the Stasi or Gestapo could only dream of and claimed 9/11 could have been prevented if it werent for TrailBlazers bulky design. Binney also wrote a few articles exposing everything Snowden would later reveal in the mid 2000s and was subject to repeated harassment from the FBI, but ultimately cleared of any wrong doing. He had his home raided with agents shoving guns in his face. Never forget these patriots, no one talks about them for a reason.
